Krungsri host “Krungsri-MUFG Bike & Run 2019: Explore The New Trail”, mountain bike and trail running event, in promoting healthy lifestyle among Thais


• Krungsri-MUFG Mountain Bike Track — the new bike and trail tracks at Wisdom Valley in Khao Mai Kaew



Bangkok (14 January 2018) — Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) hosts the “Krungsri-MUFG Bike & Run 2019: Explore The New Trail”
, a mountain bike and trailing running competition to promote health awareness among Thais in the exquisite natural surrounding at Krungsri-MUFG Mountain Bike Track, the new bike and trail tracks constructed under the collaboration between Krungsri and MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group). The event is held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Wisdom Valley in Tambon Khao Mai Kaew, Amphoe Banglamung, Chonburi province.

Mr. Noriaki Goto, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, revealed “Krungsri and MUFG aim to encourage Thais to live a healthy lifestyle while incorporating exercise in their routine; and thus, granted sponsorship to support the “Krungsri-MUFG Mountain Bike Track” in Khao Mai Kaew, Chonburi province. Adorned with a beautiful view of the famous Pattaya beach, the biking and running routes are designed to blend in smoothly with nature. Runners and bikers can enjoy fresh air while pacing through plain and mountainous terrains, which make the track unique and perfect for exercising amid natural surroundings. The Krungsri-MUFG Mountain Bike Track is designated as the venue for events and activities exclusively for Krungsri and MUFG customers. The facility carries both Krungsri and MUFG brands to signify the close partnership between Krungsri and our strategic shareholder – Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group or MUFG. It is a delight that Krungsri-MUFG Bike & Run 2019: Explore The New Trail is the first-ever competition where bikers and runners would appreciate the beauty benefits of exercise along with the grace of nature the trails are offering. 


Krungsri-MUFG Bike & Run 2019: Explore The New Trail is separated into the following three categories.

• MOUNTAIN BIKE (9.69 kilometers)

- The groups are divided as follows:

Male: 12-15, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50 years of age and over

Runners with 85 kilograms weight and over

Open group (12 years of age and over) (19.38 kilometers)

Female: Open group (12 years of age and over)

• MINI TRAIL (9.69 kilometers)

- Enrolled by age groups of 12-29, 30-49 and 50 years of age and over for both male

and female applicants

• FUN TRAIL (5.8 kilometers)

- 12 years of age and over for both male and female applicants.

Winners and two runner-ups of mountain bike and mini-trail competitions of all age groups will be granted an honorary trophy, while all finishers will be awarded with the finisher medal.

Furthermore, Allianz Ayudhya is pleased to support this activity by offering protection to over 1,500 runner and bikers. The coverage includes sum assured of 100,000 THB for loss of life or disability and 10,000 THB for medical expense from accident. The event also aligns very well with the company’s direction to encourage Thais people to exercise and start taking care of their health. Especially the running community, Allianz Ayudhya recently introduced Move by Healthy Living service where the member of the community can simply connect their smart watch (Garmin and Fitbit), run, and earn 10 points for every 1 KM.
