BANGKOK -- This year’s FAST Auto Show Thailand will feature a large number of brand-new and used vehicles along with highly attractive sales promotions and offers.
According to organizer Mr. Pattanadesh Asasappakij, the show, scheduled for June 26-30 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (Bitec) Halls 105-106, will serve as a boost to Thailand’s auto sales as well as economy. This year, auto companies showcasing new products include Audi, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mazda, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Subaru and Toyota, plus Approved Certified Used Car by MG offering pre-owned vehicles. The 18 used car dealers present this year include A.T. Carsale, Unique Autocars, Visarn Autocar, DDS Car Center, Yo Rachada, 54 Niwat Car Center, THE ONE, CarDeeSukeOK, J Motortrade, Amorn Warranty by Benz Amorn Rachada, Rot Sethi, Best Service, Keng Rama 9, 999 Rot Ban Suwit Took Lae Dee, Rot Ban Khun X by Auto Master, Panda Speed, NBP CAR and SmartCar. “Customers placing orders for vehicles at the show are entitled to the Isuzu pickup truck grand prize, with Krungsri Auto providing special car loan offers and PTT introducing a new lubricant product,” he said.
Mr. Chalatchai Paphatphong, vice chairman of the organizing committee for new vehicles, said a good number of new model highlights are present at this year’s event for customers to choose from.“Highlights include the MG ZS EV, a fully-electric crossover priced at only Bt1.19 million, which will be shown to the public for the first time at the FAST Auto Show Thailand 2019,” he said. The Nissan LEAF is another EV (Electric Vehicle) to be highlighted, with Nissan EV experts being present to give details about EV technology as well as the future of EVs. The LEAF will also be offered for test drives or rides from Bitec to the Bangna BTS station free of charge.
Toyota will present its new Commuter van that has been developed to answer to all customer requirements, as well as the Thai government’s policy for increased road safety. The Commuter comes with full safety features and increased comfort levels. Honda will put the spotlight on the 10th generation Accord sedan and take orders for the new midsized model.
Mr. Asadavuth Asasappakij, vice chairman of the organizing committee for used cars, said this year’s highlight remains the 100% buy-back policy that gives used car customers the confidence when purchasing used vehicles. “We have a 100% buy-back policy if customers find out that the vehicle purchased does not conform to the 5 conditions (no fire, no flood, no re-welding, no heavy accident, legitimate documents),” he said. “In the present used car buyers face high risks if they purchase a vehicle from sources that are not trustworthy, since they could easily run into one of these 5 discrepancies,” Asadavuth added. Highlights in the used car section include Amorn Warranty by Benz Amorn Rachada’s BMW 330e M Sport plugin hybrid, which retails at Bt3.09 million for a new car and Bt2.58 million for used. Only at the show, the price is further reduced by Bt200,000 to Bt2.38 million, with 0% interest for 48 months and 1 year first-class insurance. Yo Rachada is offering a 5-month-old Toyota C-HR with 8,000kms on the clock at Bt829,000 with no down payment required, compared to the Bt979,000 new car price. Meanwhile, 54 Niwat has a BMW 740 L (Bt6.99 million new) for sale at Bt4.39 million, helping customers save almost 50%. Visarn Autocar has brought a Porsche Panamera S Hybrid (Bt9.6 million new) with great body condition, offering it for just Bt3 million-plus. That’s Bt6 million lower than the new car price. DDS Car Center’s range starts from a 2-year-old Nissan Navara with 6,000kms (Bt1.09 million new) at Bt700,000-plus, to a Toyota Camry Hybrid 2013 wit 80,000kms (Bt1.6 million new) at Bt700,000-plus as well. Panda Speed, meanwhile, is offering an 84-month installment plan, while BB SmartCar’s campaign allows customers to make a purchase (inclusive of 1-year engine and transmission warranty) with just Bt10,000 payment. THE ONE is offering low-mileage vehicles at special prices, and J Motor Trade is offering Bt50,000 discounts on the 2018 Suzuki Ciaz.
999 Rot Ban Suwit Took Lae Dee’s promotion features down payment starting at Bt9, free 90-day drive and 0% interest. Keng Rama 9 offers 0% interest as well, plus 1-year engine and transmission warranty.
Mrs.Krittiya Srisanit, Kittiya Srisanit, Executive Vice President, Ayudhya Capital Auto Lease PCL, as the main supporter of this year’s event, said this is the 4th year that Krungsri Auto has taken this position. She said this year Krungsri Used Car is staging a campaign to make it easier for customers to make decisions as follows. “First is an 84-month installment period with no guarantor requirement, and customers will know the results within 15 minutes. Mr. Suchat Ramarch, Senior Executive Vice President, Retail Marketing, PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, said this year PTTOR will present a new innovation for performance and the environment – the PTT Ultra Force Premium Diesel fuel. “This is the first diesel fuel in the world with a special formulated ingredient resulting in a different driving feel, with higher cetane level, quicker acceleration and concentrated cleaning properties that cleans up the fuel injectors from the first tank. It provides clean combustion, and lower particulates. It is also Euro 5 certified with lower than 10ppm sulphur, helping lower air pollution,” he said, adding that Mr. Pattanadesh, who is a well-known auto critic, has been invited to prove the performance of the PTT Ultra Force Premium Diesel too. In addition, other high-quality PTT Lubricants are also highlighted. They include the Performa Super Synthetic API SN Plus and Dynamic Commonrail for diesel engines.
