Bangkok - CHANGAN Automobile Celebrates Success with the DEEPAL S07

CHANGAN Automobile, A Leader in electric vehicle innovation and intelligent driving systems, is thrilled to announce the overwhelming response from Thai consumers to the DEEPAL S07. This intelligent electric SUV has achieved first place in the number of registered electric cars in April 2024, with 754 registrations, marking a significant increase of 90.9% from March 2024, despite the whole market decrease by 21.4% YoY and 16.8% MoM.

The vehicle not only leads in registrations in the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) category for April 2024 but also holds an impressive market share of 18.4%. This accomplishment is further highlighted by the prestigious CAR OF THE YEAR 2024 award.

The DEEPAL S07 is designed as a Smart Lifestyle SUV, tailored for families. It combines cutting-edge technology with stylish design, featuring wide body dimensions, frameless doors, and concealed electric door handles. The interior is inspired by luxury yachts, catering to families who value convenience, modern usability, and distinctive taste.

Built on the EPA1 platform, CHANGAN self-developed innovative technology, the DEEPAL S07 offers excellent stability and control. It is equipped with a rear-wheel drive motor delivering up to 190 kW (258 horsepower) and 320 Newton meters of torque. The 66.8 kWh battery supports a maximum range of 485 kilometers on a full charge (NEDC), with a retail price of 1,399,000 baht.

Mr. Shen further highlighted that CHANGAN's electric models, including the DEEPAL S07 and DEEPAL L07, have been recognized as CAR OF THE YEAR 2024 by Grand Prix International Co., Ltd. (Public). These awards underscore CHANGAN's commitment to advancing automobile design and technology in Thailand.
