Transforming Rama 1 Road into a radiant Rainbow Road of Equality is more than just a vision—it's a powerful statement of inclusivity and celebration. By organizing the vibrant "Bangkok Pride Festival 2024" under the uplifting theme of "Celebration of Love," we're not just waving a large rainbow Pride flag; we're unfurling a symbol of unity and acceptance that stretches 200 meters, marking it as the longest in Thailand's history. with the festival parade that is more than 2.5 kilometers long from the National Stadium stretching on Rama 1 Road to the Ratchaprasong intersection. Pride Month in June 2024 is celebrated as a month of pride for the LGBTQIAN+ community, with "Big Festivals" accompanying the countdown to equal marriage rights before the end of 2024. It marks a historic milestone for LGBTQIAN+ people.

In a powerful collaboration, "Naruemit Pride" has joined forces with event organizers and Pride committees across the nation, including governmental bodies, to craft an array of impactful activities. From raising awareness to championing access to fundamental Diverse Gender and Sexuality rights, from hosting creative endeavors to sparking discussions through exhibitions, film screenings, and music festivals, our efforts encompass a spectrum of endeavors.

The agenda doesn't stop at showcasing local cultures or setting up vibrant rainbow markets; we're also deeply committed to legal advocacy. Our aim is clear: to push forward the Marriage Equality Bill, advocate for comprehensive gender recognition, and abolishing the prostitution criminalization laws, and any form of discrimination. Each initiative serves as a vital thread in the tapestry of progress, woven to strengthen community bonds, amplify everyone's voices, and pave the way for the monumental journey towards the Road to Bangkok WorldPride in 2030. Together, forging a path towards a future where equality and acceptance are not just ideals but lived realities for all.


This year, the government, led by Prime Minister “Srettha Thavisin” is fully supporting the LGBTQIAN+ community, including advocating for equal marriage rights, organizing the "Bangkok Pride Festival 2024," and nationwide Pride events. On Friday, May 31st, he will also serve as the guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the "Bangkok Pride 2024 Celebration of Love - Celebrating Marriage Equality," at Parc Paragon.

On Saturday, June 1st, join the Pride parade at the "Bangkok Pride Festival 2024" along Rama 1 Road, starting from the National Stadium to Ratchaprasong Intersection. “Provincial Pride flags will be presented, symbolizing the kickoff of the Pride month celebrations, to convey the spirit to representatives of Pride organizers' networks in various provinces nationwide (Nationwide Pride), covering 5 regions and 14 provinces, to energize Pride festivities!


Waaddao- Ann Chumaporn, President 
and Founder of Naruemit Pride of "Bangkok Pride Festival 2024" said that organizing the recent Bangkok Pride Festival 2023 was considered a success beyond expectations for the whole region. The government, civil society partners and the private sector provide full support. There are up to 100,000 people participating in the parade, and this year's "Bangkok Pride Festival 2024" is expected to have more people joining the parade, with both Thai locals and international visitors expected to exceed 200,000 individuals. The overwhelming response from all corners, particularly within the Rainbow Community, underscores the festival's profound impact and significance.

“The fact that we have been side by side for ten years is no coincidence. It is about creating a space for everyone to be a leader in their respective areas. Through various identities, this is the integration of differences between brothers and sisters in advancing gender justice. and join forces to create a network of Pride working groups that have amazing power in every part of the country. ● Bangkok Pride Parade 2024 under the theme of “Celebration Of Love - celebrating marriage equality” is made of 5 main procession with 5 Open-Ended Definitions of Love to Inspire Participants to Interpret, Express, and Present their Own Concepts of Love for Creating an Equitable Society

Assembling at the Thephasadin Stadium and release the Parade at the main front gate of the Nimibutr Building, Marching from the National Stadium along the Rama 1 Road to the Ratchaprasong Intersection with the Parade distance spanning over 2.5km

● The Bangkok Pride Forum is a platform that fosters exchange of opinions, knowledge and thoughts from civil society, government, and private sectors, covering more than 30 key topics over a period of 5 days from May 31st to June 4th, 2024. Its purpose is to collectively push Thailand towards a society that is equal and safe for everyone. The inception of The Bangkok Pride Forum 2024 is rooted in the idea of "Together, We Thrive" because celebrating one's own pride to strengthen the LGBTQIAN+ community is paramount. Pride events pave the way for self-expression, advocacy, and organizing forums to discuss various issues such as economics, technology, medical innovation, health, education, and human rights, updating situations related to sexual diversity. It's a testament to Thailand's readiness to host Bangkok WorldPride 2030, aiming to reinforce equality, cooperation, and collective growth across various dimensions to reflect the diversity and strength of the LGBTQIAN+ community and its allies.

● DRAG BANGKOK Festival 2024 will be held grandly from May 31st to June 3rd, 2024, in conjunction with the "Bangkok Pride Festival 2024." This event marks the first DRAG Festival in Thailand and Asia, bringing together Drag artists from all around the world, totaling over 500 individuals from both Thailand and abroad, making it the largest gathering ever. It represents a significant collaboration among representatives from businesses, shops, celebrities, and actors who come together to support the Thai Drag Community. The drag procession will come with the theme "I’ve got the power."


Phatthara Lertsukittipongsa,
 the board of director of Yellow Channel Co., Ltd. and the organizer of the "DRAG BANGKOK Festival 2024," stated that the "DRAG BANGKOK Festival 2024" is the first drag festival in Thailand and the first in Asia. It brings together partners in the Thai Drag Community, including those interested in drag events and drag artists, with the largest participation of over 500 individuals from across Thailand and international drag artists from Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, China, the United States, and many more. This event is the largest of its kind ever held.

"This festival, besides showcasing the talents of drag artists and performers within Thailand's LGBTQIAN+ community, also aims to stimulate awareness and drive forward the growth, promotion, and development of Thailand's drag community on a global scale. It serves as a soft power reflection not only of Thailand's LGBTQIAN+ identity but also of Thai art, culture, and way of life through costume and various performances. Another goal of mine is to support Thai drag artists as a profession, creating jobs and income opportunities, stimulating the country's economy, and reinforcing Thailand as a LGBTQIAN+ haven in terms of arts, culture, and tourism."
