(MHESI) Announces Readiness for Two Major Events of the Year:
"MHESI Fair" and "National Science and Technology Festival"
Inviting Thai People to Unlock Their Creative Imagination,
Learn Science Through Hands-On Experience, Real Thinking,
and Real Fun, August 9-17, 2025,
at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center
BANGKOK, August 4, 2025 – Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), announced the ministry's readiness to organize the "Festival for Promoting the Utilization of Knowledge, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) to Drive Thailand's Sustainable Economy through Multidisciplinary Power" or "MHESI Fair 2025: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND" and the "National Science and Technology Festival 2025" (NST Fair 2025) scheduled for August 9-17, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The announcement was made in the presence of Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, Mr. Vichian Suksoir Secretary to the Minister, and other ministry executives at the Activity Plaza, 9th Floor, SIAMSCAPE, Bangkok.
Ms. Sudawan stated "MHESI Fair 2025: SCI POWER FOR FUTURE THAILAND" and the "National Science and Technology Festival 2025" (NST Fair 2025) by combining these two grand events of the year in the same venue. The events will showcase the work of over 200 agencies under MHESI and domestic and international network partners involved in human resource development across all multidisciplinary fields. The events will present knowledge, scientific advancement, research, and innovation of the country, blending both science and arts, utilizing higher education, science, research, and innovation (HESRI) as creative power to enhance quality of life and sustainable economy. The events will be held on August 9-17, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The Minister of MHESI further explained that MHESI Fair 2025 is organized for the second consecutive year under the concept "Creators of Tomorrow," reflecting the crucial role of 'creators of the future' by providing space for participants to exchange knowledge, experiences, and create collaboration in various dimensions to develop Thailand toward a sustainable future. The event will transform over 23,000 square meters of Halls 1-4, Ground Floor of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center into a land of innovation and multidisciplinary sciences. This aligns with MHESI's policies and key missions that focus on driving the country through knowledge and human resources under the policy "Create Wisdom, Open Opportunities,
Build Thailand's Future," which covers two main missions: human resource development, promoting lifelong learning, creating people with skills aligned with the future so that Thai youth and workforce can compete on the global stage through educational innovation, bioeconomy, and digital technology; and developing science, research, and innovation, strengthening the ecosystem ready to propel research results to business and industrial sectors, focusing on practical application of research results to enhance the country's competitiveness in economy, society, and security.
The event will be divided into 7 main zones: ZONE A: INSPIRED ARENA - Sparking creativity for children and youth ZONE B: LEARNING ARCADE - Learning space in game format ZONE C: INNOVATOR PLAYGROUND - Space for nurturing new generation innovators, empowering Thai businesses for the future ZONE D: VALLEY OF GROWTH - Innovation for the future of Thai business ZONE E: LIVING DISTRICT - Innovation for better living in the future ZONE F: ART & SCIENCE FOR FUTURE THAILAND - Science blended with human imagination ZONE G: CRAFT MARKET - Innovation market from across the country featuring over 20,000 items from more than 350 shops
Within the 7 main zones, visitors will encounter the "7 Wonders," which are key highlights for this year: Polar Research Vessel "Xue Long II" Exhibition by NRCT – A state-of-the-art icebreaker from China used by Thai researchers for polar exploration (Zone A: INSPIRED ARENA) VR Glasses for Dimensional Vehicle Experience by NECTEC – Experience the dream world of science through virtual reality (Zone A: INSPIRED ARENA) Virtual TCAS Examination Hall by TCAS – Prepare for university entrance exams with real exam trials and instant results, plus A-Level problem-solving techniques from experienced professionals (Zone B: LEARNING ARCADE) Giant Board Game "Bangkok Road" by NSTDA – Learn city management through gaming (Zone D: VALLEY OF GROWTH) ThaiWater App by HAII – Smart water management application for daily use (Zone E: LIVING DISTRICT) Asteroid "Ryugu" Fragment by NARIT – Real asteroid fragments from space, displayed for the first time in Asia (Zone F: ART & SCIENCE FOR FUTURE THAILAND) GISTDA Satellite Laboratory – Opening Thailand's space missions to the international community (Zone F: ART & SCIENCE FOR FUTURE THAILAND)
Special highlights within "MHESI Fair 2025" include the Royal Pavilion exhibition in honor of His Majesty, Prime Minister's Science Award 2025 ceremony, virtual TCAS exam activities (3 rounds daily for 9 days), Robot Interactive Performance, seminars and performances on Main Stage and Mini Stage, various workshops, and over 130 seminar topics addressing global changes and trends, including Alpha Skills x The Standard sessions such as "Decoding Alpha Generation" by Dr.Kraiyos Patrawart, Managing Director of the Equitable Education Fund Podcast Show: Human Sciences program; Workshop: Gen Alpha Survival

Ms. Sudawan concluded "National Science and Technology Festival 2025" (NST Fair 2025) will feature the concept "Science in Action! For Sustainable Communities" and will be held at Halls 5-6, Lower Ground Floor of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, covering 10,000 square meters. Everyone will experience and learn science through hands-on activities, real thinking, and real fun, participating in creating a scientific society to develop the country's potential.
This preparation equips youth and the public for future global changes through exhibitions including Quantum Quest: Quantum Changes the World, Brain Inside Out: Opening the Extraordinary World of Brain Science, Mystery of Svalbard: The Seed Vault of the Future, Little Inventor: Land of Young Inventors, exhibitions from government agencies, international organizations, institutions/educational establishments, and private sectors. There will also be many fun science activities for youth participation.
