August 15, 2025 – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) invites everyone to experience innovations and practical research under the concept 'Universe of SRI' and the 'Thai Tam Tueng (Thai Technologies & Automatic Machinery Trade)' zone, presenting tangible achievements that can be applied in daily life. The event features technologies designed to improve Thai people's lives and well-being. Visitors can explore innovations and technologies for enhancing future quality of life at ZONE E: LIVING DISTRICT – a space dedicated to better future living. The highlight is the "ThaiWater Application", an application that transforms complex water and weather data into easily understandable and accessible information for everyone, making visitors realize that "water" is a vital part of life. The exhibition presents the journey of water droplets from "the Sky, down to the Mountains, into the Sea". Thai people can now experience modern science and technology at MHESI Fair 2025 from today through August 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Halls 1-4, G Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
MHESI Fair 2025 represents a significant step in presenting practical research and innovations, aligning with MHESI's policy to promote research focused on human development, knowledge creation, and innovation to drive the nation forward. The main goal is to build world-class innovation capabilities and lead Thailand toward becoming a developed country. Today (August 15, 2025), the event begins with showcasing practical research applications at ZONE D: VALLEY OF GROWTH, featuring works from Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI) under the concept Universe of SRI: The Universe of Science, Research, and Innovation. This space presents tangible research outputs that can be utilized in business, government, and society, applicable in daily life under a cutting-edge concept emphasizing outstanding and socially significant research in areas including Medicine and Health Promotion, Frontier and Deep Technology, Environment and Agriculture, Soft Power, and Appropriate Technology. The zone offers hands-on experiences for visitors and features the SRI Playground with Art & Science activities for all age groups, showcasing advanced technology and cultural activities with numerous prizes to be won.
Additionally, there is the Thai Tam Tueng (Thai Technologies & Automatic Machinery Trade) zone from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, MHESI, presenting award-winning works including the 2025 Excellence in Machinery and Equipment Technology Awards, inventions from the Science and Technology Inventions Contest 2025 at vocational and higher education levels (STI Inventions Contest 2025) championship rounds. Visitors can witness demonstrations of Thai-made machinery and inventions including the "Smart Pick and Place Robot" and intelligent dog robots, among many others.
ZONE E: LIVING DISTRICT is a creative space for the new generation, offering participants the opportunity to experience comprehensive innovations for enhancing future quality of life, covering health innovations focused on prevention and recovery, clean and sustainable energy technologies for the future world, to smart living innovations that reflect intelligent lifestyles, aiming to inspire the design of new ways of life that benefit both people and the environment.
One of the key highlights is the exhibition from "the Sky, down to the Mountains, into the Sea: Water Management Technology and Innovation for a Sustainable Future", which tells the story of water's journey from its origin in the sky, through mountains and headwater forests, to communities, cities, and the sea. The exhibition connects the holistic water management concepts based on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great's royal initiatives and introduces the "ThaiWater Application", an intelligent tool that transforms complex water and weather data into easily understandable, practical, and universally accessible information. The exhibition is organized by the Hydro Informatics Institute (Public Organization).
