BANGKOK, Thailand, — 20 January, 2022 — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that Do Day Dream Public Company Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of popular skincare products, personal care, beauty equipment and other lifestyle products in Thailand has replaced its legacy ERP system and implemented SAP Business ByDesign package Netizen Arabica, SAP’s cloud ERP platform, to enhance the distribution process for driving business expansion and pave the way to become a data-driven organization.

DDD has grown significantly since it was established, now offering over 5 million units a year, Made in Thailand quality consumer products and it is mulling expansion to the Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam markets.

“Recently, we announced our new business goal to achieve the goal of triple sales to 3 billion baht in three years as we are seeing many business opportunities amidst the pandemic – an increasing demand in personal care product portfolio, for example. We need to quickly move and capture the business opportunity and enable the company to operate in a more sustainable way.” said Ms. Nuntawan Suwandej, Chief Executive Officer of Do Day Dream PLC at the company’s kick off ceremony.

According to DDD, technology has become increasingly critical to the company’s successful growth but expanding IT systems to meet new business needs was challenging for its small IT department. Additionally, the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system was not built to scale.

“One of our biggest challenges to reach our business goal was our multisystem IT landscape. New servers needed to be set up and provisioned quickly to support our growth. We are seeing SAP Business ByDesign package Netizen Arabica, the all-in-one cloud ERP platform as a powerful and flexible business management tool that helps us grow faster as it is scalable and can help streamline processes, manage and connect important functions of our business such as purchasing, inventory, distribution network and warehouse logistics – all in one platform without the need for expensive IT resources.” Ms. Nuntawan added.

With standardized processes all operating from a single, cloud-based platform, DDD will have full accurate visibility 24/7 or (Real-time). The platform will enable DDD to optimize manufacturing capacity, manage one warehouse consolidation and the distribution network, improve forecast accuracy, and drive overall operational efficiency so management can focus on innovating new products that matter for customers.

“When we get full transparency into every aspect of our operations and have more comprehensive and reliable oversight of their data, we can improve supply chain effectiveness - get a clear view of our supply networks, match supply-demand much better and streamline customer and supplier collaboration, better manage production, automate work processes and accelerate time-to-market of new product launch. Real-time analytics included will also help improve profits and efficiency as management can keep costs under control and develop a strategy for growth, supported by accurate, live data.” Ms. Nuntawan continues.

Seree Satukijchai, CEO, Netizen Co., Ltd. said: “We are glad to be chosen as an implementation partner of DDD. With 20 years of experience in management, business process optimization, and SAP ERP solution implementation and especially we’ve got SAP Partner of the year in Southeast Asia awarded for SAP Business ByDesign solution 4 years in a row (year 2016-2020), DDD is going to achieve another milestone by implementing SAP Cloud ERP System and will lead company to improve the productivity, lower down the cost and help in making a better strategic business decision.”

Atul Tuli, Managing Director, SAP Indochina said: “The industry is moving quickly to cloud computing as it provides a greater opportunity for businesses to completely transform how they use and pay for IT. Our cloud-based ERP applications eliminate the need for a business to purchase additional servers and storage hardware and maintain them on site which, in turn reducing operational expenses. Most importantly, cloud ERP provides the platform and intelligence for businesses to run better and turn growth potential into real results.”
